Since National Call a Friend Day is December 28 when most of your contacts are probably off for the holidays, wait until the new year to invite your connections to a non-Zoom face-to-face meeting. The founder of Evernote created a (fun and funny) video conferencing tool called mmhmm because they like “names that you can say while eating.” The app has personality and lets you showcase your slides and graphics without your head being small and the slides being rectangular. The company also released another fun video meeting alternative called OOO. You gotta love that. Plus… as of the end of 2021, the web version of OOO includes the warning “Dangerously Untested Preview.” Gotta love that, too.
