Sooo many celebrations revolve around cookies. There’s National Cookie Month in October, plus recognition for traditional cookies such as National Chocolate Cookie Day (August 4), National Sugar Cookie Day (July 9) and National Peanut Butter Cookie Day (June 12). The holidays also get fancy and oddly specific like Lacy Oatmeal Cookie Day (March 18) and National Pfeffernusse Day (December 23).
We may love the baked cookies, but no one likes an obnoxious cookie consent form, the popup boxes on websites that give sites permission to track you. The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires that visitors must be notified of data that sites are collecting and get permission from them to collect it. We put one on yournerdybestfriend.com just in case. But that doesn’t mean we like them.
The browser extension Super Agent removes the need to click that dang box because it does the work for you. You can tell it you want to opt out of cookies such as advertising and performance. Because I always take the time to opt out of optional cookies, Super Agent is a real time saver.
